Returning to Study
The University of Stirling is committed to providing greater access and flexibility to prospective students of all ages and social backgrounds in the local and wider community.
We realise that often people who have left school without formal qualifications may wish to return to study to either enhance or change the direction of their career. We also realise that it can be a daunting prospect returning to study as an adult. However, you are not alone and will find that there are other people in exactly the same position.
At the University of Stirling it is not always necessary to have "traditional" entry qualifications to be accepted on to a degree programme. Other qualifications are also considered (for example HNC/ HND and access courses provide a route in for many adults wishing to undertake a degree course). It is always worth contacting us to find out the best option for you.
