Information for Teachers/Careers Advisers
The Study in Scotland Group is a consortium representing seven of Scotland's Higher Education Institutions. The aim is to promote Scotland and the benefits of Scottish Higher Education, while providing potential students with impartial advice on the opportunities available at each of the member institutions. The Study in Scotland group attends approximately 30 Higher Education Conventions each year in England and Wales. The group is represented by up to two staff from one or more institutions, who provide information and distribute prospectuses on behalf of all consortium members. Typically Stirling staff will represent the group at up to ten Study in Scotland events each year.
Study in Scotland member institutions:
The Study in Scotland European Group is a consortium representing thirteen of Scotland's Higher Education Institutions. The aim is to promote Scotland and the benefits of Scottish Higher Education to students within the European Union, while providing potential students with impartial advice on the opportunities available at each of the member institutions. The Study in Scotland European Group attends events in a range of European countries each year, including Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands. The group is represented by up to three staff from two or more institutions, who provide information and distribute prospectuses on behalf of all consortium members.
