Atrium (Student Centre)
Will: Here we are in the Atrium, the vibrant heart of the campus, where everything happens and you’ve got all you need in one place. The campus supermarket, the library, the travel agents and the bookshop, everything you need in one place.
Jenny: There are lots of great places to eat on campus. This is Haldane’s – they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner at a great price.
Will: Here we are in the Students’ Union offering fantastic nightlife on your doorstep and great affordable food all day. There’s also a host of clubs and societies you can join, from the newspaper, to the radio station, drama society and photography.
This is the library; it houses over half a million books and is open seven days a week. It also has computer labs and quiet study spaces with fantastic views across campus and there’s fantastic helpful staff on hand at all times.
Jenny: In the Atrium you can also find the multi-faith chaplaincy. They offer a host family scheme for international students.
Will: The MacRobert Arts Centre offers an on-campus cinema and theatre at great student ticket prices; there’s also fantastic events for families as well as a restaurant.
