The Chaplaincy

In addition to offering confidential spiritual and pastoral care, the Chaplaincy organises programmes of worship, discussion and social events, which include supporting local charities. One of the chaplains co-ordinates a Host Family Scheme for our international students.

Although worship is predominantly Christian, provision is made for other religious traditions, such as Islam and Judaism. The Chaplaincy puts new students in touch with the nearest representatives from their own religious group and provides a prayer room for Muslim students.

  • Based in the Atrium, next to the Robbins Centre
  • Open Monday to Friday
  • Seminar room can be booked for meetings or used as a quiet study area
  • The Chaplaincy is a WiFi zone: desks provided for those who want to use laptops online
  • Available to both religious and secular groups when not needed by the Chaplains
