Highland Campus

The University is responsible for the teaching of nurses and midwives in the Forth Valley, Highlands and Western Isles so there are additional University campuses in both Inverness and Stornoway (on the Isle of Lewis).

Highland Campus

Situated in the grounds of Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, the Highland Campus has state-of-the-art teaching accommodation. Provision of Nursing and Midwifery Education on this campus is boosted by the world-class Centre for Health Science. Facilities for students are boosted by the Highland Health Sciences Library (which caters for students, staff and NHS employees), also located within the Centre for Health Science, and purpose-built student flats.

The City of Inverness:

  • Has a population of around 60,000 people
  • Is a popular centre for tourists, hillwalkers and skiers
  • Has a lively nightlife
