I've found the experience of studying at the University of Stirling to be a refreshingly unique and positive change.

'I’ve been studying for a PhD with the Department of Film, Media & Journalism for the past two years. I’m originally from Ireland, and I’ve found the experience of studying at the University of Stirling to be a refreshingly unique and positive change.
My first impressions, like those of many of my colleagues, was how beautiful and peaceful the University campus was. The surroundings of the University are definitely the nicest I have ever experienced. I have never found the University to be over-crowded, or too busy, which has made my time here very relaxing and pleasant.
During my time here I’ve met many wonderful people who have shown me great kindness and made me feel welcome. The University has a friendly atmosphere and students come from very diverse backgrounds. So, one of the best aspects of my studies here has been the fact that I’ve enjoyed meeting so many different students from all over the world! In terms of my living arrangements here, I have found Stirling city to be a very convenient, quiet and safe place to live. The accommodation office is very helpful and I found it very easy to become familiar with everything.'
