Social Activities

A range of social and cultural activities will enable you to get to know other students on the ISS. Excursions to major Scottish attractions such as Edinburgh, St Andrews and Glasgow are planned for this year’s International Summer School. A Scottish ceilidh will also be held so you can even learn Scottish country dancing during your time here!

There is ample free time built into the summer school to allow students to make use of the university's world-class sports facilities, explore the many historic sights in and around the city of Stirling, shop in the mall or wander the beautiful countryside with new friends.

National Health Service Emergency Healthcare

Should students be required to seek medical assistance during their studies, they have full access to the National Health Service (NHS) Medical Centre on campus to see a doctor or nurse and to NHS emergency treatment. These services are completely free other than the cost of a prescription (£4.00), if applicable.
