The ISS will be structured in two 4-week blocks which can be taken independently or consecutively.
Block 1— 12th June-10th July 2010
Block 2— 10th July-7th August 2010
The University of Stirling employs teaching staff who are consistently amongst the best in their fields and are dedicated to the success of their students. Courses have been tailored especially for the ISS to help you get the most out of your studies in Scotland. A key component of your ISS course modules will be the class field trips that complement classroom learning. For instance, a visit to one of Scotland’s main sporting venues helps contextualize your studies in Sports Management and your Jacobite history course module comes alive with a trip to battlefields around Scotland.
Social activities and field trips are an important part of the programme beyond your studies. The ISS programme fee includes guided day trips to St Andrews, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
There will also be additional opportunitiesto visit Scottish treasures such as Loch Ness, the Highlands and the Isle of Skye at discounted rates. You can even learn/practice your Scottish country dancing at the ISS ceilidh.
