Application

Requirements

To participate in the ISS, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

To apply you should submit the following application materials by 16th April 2010:

  • a completed Application Form

  • an official University Transcript (faxed acceptable) from your home institution
  • an academic reference or recommendation from someone who has taught you at University or College or a reference provided by your exchange or study abroad co-ordinator
  • two passport photos

If you are a non-native English speaker you will need to submit proof of your English language proficiency.

Acceptance

After your completed application materials are received by the International Summer School Office, we will review your file and if you meet the admission criteria we will send a letter offering you admission with a listing of your pre-approved modules and an Acceptance Form. We will then ask you to return the Acceptance Form in order to secure your modules and accommodation.


Final details about orientation and other useful information will be sent to students in our Introductory and Welcome Packs. This will be emailed to students beginning in April and will also be available for download on the International Summer School website.


A cancellation fee of £200 will be charged for any withdrawals from the programme received after 3rd May 2010. Cancellations received after 4th June 2010 will be liable to pay the full programme fee.
