Cost of Living
The cost of living here at the University of Stirling is reasonably low, compared to London and other major cities in the UK. We do, however have all the facilities that students want in terms of teaching standards and socialising both on and off campus.
We also have a travel agent on campus to help you plan your travel. As Stirling is at the heart of Scotland, it makes it an obvious starting place to explore the country.
Students who study on an Undergraduate course on average spend around £5,000-£6,000 per year; this can of course vary depending on your lifestyle. This includes accommodation, food, travel and entertainment.
Students on a postgraduate course on average spend more per year, due to the length of Master's courses (11 months). We estimate that the living costs for a postgraduate student would be approximately £7,000 - £8,000. This again will vary depending on the student's lifestyle.
